Be Yourself With A Custom Cycling Jersey

Be Yourself With A Custom Cycling Jersey

There are many reasons why a bicyclist will want to wear a custom cycling jersey. Of course anyone can ride in nearly any clothing, but for comfort, safety, and style try to dress the part. The serious riders on the trail look like they know what they are doing with their vibrantly colored sleek cycling shorts and jerseys. Apparently, they do.

A cycling shirt makes the ride so much better as it is designed for the activity. The material is made to help maintain a comfortable body temperature and to not slide up during riding. The cut of the shirt is longer in the back accommodating that bent-forward, riding position. There are angled pockets low on the back of the jersey to allow for ease of access.

Even cyclists who do not ride competitively, but simply for fun and exercise, will want to wear one simply for the expert design. The pockets allow simple access to a snack or camera. Some of them zip so items stay secure. The specialty fabrics are for cooling or warmth and for providing sun protection while looking stylish and professional.

You can choose a body-hugging race fit cut designed for comfort, or a more relaxed European style fit that still follows the shape of the body. You can also choose from alternate zip options.

Specialized clothing also provides a safety bonus. Protective gear of gloves and helmet is not the only excellent thought. While wearing vibrant colors, the rider is more easily noticed by other cyclists and motorists. This makes safer travel for everyone.

Custom designing your own jersey is the best part. Find a excellent company that will let you choose it all. Choose small or long sleeve or even no sleeve. Order as small or as many as you like, for only yourself or in quantity for your bike club. For a partial custom design, there is a choice of stock colors with the option to add names or logos. With a complete custom design, depending on the company, many more choices are available from type of fabric to color arrangement and prints.

So, before heading for the bike trail or out onto the streets, design a custom cycling jersey and make a statement of your own. Order something that fits your needs and preferences. A excellent design company can help develop something unique and attractive while providing functional style.

6 Things Fresh Mountain Bikers Should Practice

6 Things Fresh Mountain Bikers Should Practice

If you want to start your adventure with the sport of mountain biking, there are a few things to make sure you do before you bite off more than you can chew. This sport is full of thrill, but it is not without risk.

To get prepared and ready for mountain biking, take your bike to a flat area with a non-intimidating hill nearby it. There you can get ready for your debut as a mountain biker.

While going downhill, you may lose placement on your pedals. Practice removing and replacing your feet on your pedals. Take one off, and then place it back on while pedaling. If you have a clipless, or toe clip foot pedal you want to make sure you have this skill down.

While you are riding, you should have a relaxed body with both your knees and elbows bent. The elbows should only be somewhat bent, and never locked. Your legs should never extend fully while pedaling. Raise your bike seat so that while you are pedaling, your legs extend at most 90 percent and at minimum 70 percent.

The next thing you will want to practice is coasting while standing up off of your seat. There are many times while mountain biking that you will be standing up off of your seat while riding. Practice the basics of it by standing up with your legs and elbows slightly bent. Practice moving your weight backward.

Next to try is pedaling while standing. Stand up and practice pedalling in this position. This will feel different when pedaling in a higher gear and a lower gear, so practice this in different gears.

The ride down a hill is not usually without it’s rough spots. To practice control, try riding off of curbs at different speeds. Start slow and then work your way up until you feel comfortable riding off of the curb.

These are very basic techniques to learn and practice. Once you master them, you’ll be in better condition to start riding down trails. Just make sure you wear protective gear!

A high level of fitness does wonders in the extreme sport of mountain bikink. If you want to stave off injury, and ride longer and harder, starting a solid exercise program is a must! Check out the P90x extreme home fitness program, which helps users get fit from home in 90 days.
