Kayaking at Ottawa River Canada
Ottawa, Canada is the banks of the Ottawa River which provides most fascinating water activities such as kayaking, canoeing, or boat riding. The well-known place for tourists at this area is Rideau Canal. This canal winding through the heart of the city was aptly declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
If you fancy seeing the city while gliding through the waterway, you can go board one of the many cruise and pleasure craft available in the area. The Ottawa river especially at Rideau Canal is also something to behold during winter as it transforms into the world’s largest naturally frozen skating rink.

Televised sporting events have been common place for sports such as baseball, basketball, and football. But, other lesser known competitive sports are making their mark on cable television. Cable television networks such as the OLN are a welcome sight for passionate kayakers. OLN was proud to broadcast the ‘Teva Mountain Games’ this past June. Kayakers, bikers, and rafters were among many adventure athletes that were showcased.
